Variety Description
Hosta Camelot (Smith/BHHS, 1988) [H. Tardiana grex] Leaves are blue gray on a clump getting 14 inches high and nearly two feet wide. Substance give this one slug resistance. Lavender flowers
Hosta Carnival (Lachman, 1986) [A seedling whose pod parent is a H. Beatrice seedling] Dark green large leaves are bordered with a wide yellow to gold edge. Clump is 16 inches tall and 3 feet wide. Great specimen plant gets lots of attention. Lavender flowers.
Hosta Carriage Wheels (Summers, NR) [Sport from H. Golden Nugget] Chartreuse yellow leaves with a blue green edge Although new to the market but destined to be a great hosta. Lavender flowers WOW!
Hosta Center of Attention (Kulpa, 1999) [A seedling who's pod parent is H. Sea Prize] Leaf center starts out yellowish but turns to creamy white with a wide medium dark green edge. This outstanding clump gets 15 inches high and 2 feet wide. Pale lavender flowers. A must have!
Hosta Chantilly Lace (Lachman, 1988) [H. Calypso x H. Halcyon] Leaves are medium to gray leaves with a creamy white edge. Clump gets 9 inches high by 14 inches wide. White flowers
Hosta Chartreuse Wiggles (Aden, 1976) [A seedling whose pod parent is H. Ogon Koba] Narrow leaves are chartreuse-yellow. Leaves edges are extremely wavy. When caught by the wind, this clump appears to really wiggle. Small clump 6 inches high by 9 inches tall. Lavender Flowers
Hosta Chelsea Ore (Chelsea Physic Gar, 1989) Fragrant [A seedling whose pod parent is H. plantaginea] An interesting looking plant with yellow green leaves and a dark green narrow edge. Clump reaches 24 inches by 24 inches.
Hosta Cherries Jubilee (Malloy, 2001) [Sport from H. Cherry Berry] A streaked form of Cherry Berry that is unstable. Has varying degrees of white throughout the leaf. Red pods should provide interesting seedlings. Clump gets 14 inches high and about 2 feet wide. Lavender flowers
Hosta Cherry Berry (Lachman, 1991)[H. Lachman 82-18-1 x H. Lachman 81-9-2] Long strappy leaves have a white center with a dark green edge. Forms a loose clump that's 10 inches high and 14.5 inches wide. What makes this spectacular are the reddish petioles and violet flowers
Hosta Cherub (Lachman, 1989) [H. Crepe Suzette x H. Blue Moon] Medium green leaves with white edges are on this smallish hosta. The edge appears wide and varies leaf to leaf. Clump reaches 6 inches high and 9 inches wide. Lavender flowers. Makes a pretty border plant.
Hosta Chinese Sunrise (Ruh/Schaeffer, 1992) [Parentage unknown] Leaves are medium yellow turning green as summer progresses and with a dark green edge. This is one of the first hostas out of the ground with an amazing color in Spring. Clump 10-12 inches high and 18 inches wide
Hosta Christmas Tree (Vaughn/Seaver, 1982) [H. Frances Williams x H. Beatrice] Leaves are green with a creamy yellow to white edge. Clump is huge measuring 3 feet wide and nearly 2 feet tall. Beautiful specimen plant. Lavender flowers
Hosta Cinnamon Sticks (Herold, NR) [H. longipes hypoglauca x H. Maruba Iwa] An upright clump of dark green leaves with beautiful white backs. The petioles have a cinnamon red color that extends up to the leaf. Although beautiful in the ground, try it in a pot where you can examine the clump from underneath.
Hosta Circle of Light (Walek, 1996) [H. Rosanne x H. Little White Lines] Medium green leaves with a pure white edge. Clump gets only 7 inches tall and 18 inches wide. Pale lavender flowers.
Hosta Citation (Aden, 1980) [A seedling whose pod parent is H. Vicki Aden] Creamy chartreuse leaves surrounded by a white edge. Beautiful clump measures 22 inches high & 30 inches wide. Impressive clump when mature.
Hosta City Lights

(Aden, 1978) [H. White Vision x H. Golden Prayers] Nice large clump gets 3 feet wide and 2 feet tall. Leaves are bright gold with white flowers in midseason. A very impressive specimen plant.
Hosta Cody (Solberg, 1996) [H. Shiny Tot x H. venusta] A fast growing tiny clump of shiny dark green leaves. Reaches only 5 inches tall and 10 inches wide. A good fast grower, perfect for the Fairy garden. Lavender flowers. Cute, cute cute!
Hosta Color Glory (Aden, 1980) [H. Fascination x H. Intrigue] Another impressive clump that gets 26 inches tall and 3 feet wide. Leaves are a yellow gold center with blue green leaves that extend into the center. White flowers.
Hosta Color Parade (Zilis, NR) [Sport from H. Fragrant Bouquet] A fragrant streaked plant with chartreuse centers and streaks of yellow and white throughout the leaf. Plant needs frequent dividing to maintain it's streaky leaves but grows vigorously here for us. Stunning!
Hosta Columbus Circle

(Santa Lucia, NR) [H. Iron Gate Supreme x H. Frances Williams] Medium to dark green center with a yellow edge on shiny leaves. Makes an impressive clump over two feet high. Beautiful planted in mass. Lavender flowers.
Hosta Coquette (Benedict, 1987) [H. Neat Splash x H. Neat Splash] Medium to bright green center leaf with wide chartreuse to white border. Small hosta getting 12 inches high and 14 inches wide, great for the perennial shade border. Lavender flowers held over the clump.
Hosta Cordelia (Kuk, 1991) [A seedling whose pod parent is H. Neat Splash] Glossy dark green leaves with a creamy white edge. Clump grows rapidly to 11 inches high and 16 inches wide. Flowers are a deep dark violet. Very Pretty and great for the small garden.
Hosta Craig's Temptation (Craig/Shenk, NR) [Parentage unknown] A small clump with green wavy leaves. Grows quickly. Lavender flowers are help above the small clump.
Hosta Cream Cheese (Lachman, 1991) [H. Crepe Suzette x H. Crepe Suzette] Small clump only getting 6 inches high and 13 inches wide. The leaves are a medium to dark green center with a wide creamy white border. When this plant reaches maturity it is stunning. Violet flowers.
Hosta Crepe Suzette (Lachman, 1986) [A seedling whose pod parent is H. Flamboyant] An oldie but a goodie this clump reaches only 4 inches high and 9 inches wide, perfect for the rock garden. Leaves are dark green with a creamy white border. Lavender flowers.
Hosta Crested Surf (Benedict, 1990) [H. Neat Splash x H. Neat Splash] A great plant for the Fairy garden, this clump reaches 5 inches high and 8 inches wide. Narrow green leaves with a very wavy creamy white edge. Adorable! Lavender flowers.
Hosta Crinoline Petticoats (Soules, 1990) [H. sieboldiana x H. Tokudama] Deep blue-green leaves are very puckered and make for a beautiful clump that gets nearly 2 feet tall and over 5 feet wide. Perfect specimen plant but give it lots of room.
Hosta Crusader (Lachman, 1989) [(H. Resonance x H. P14-3) x H. Halcyon] Dark green leaves have a white edge. Clump gets 16 inches tall and 30 inches wide. Grows quickly into a nice full clump. Light lavender flowers.
Hosta Dark Star

(Herold, 1999) [H. Swoosh x H. Hadspen Heron] Grows so quickly you can almost watch it grow. Blue green narrow leaves have a creamy white edge. Leaves are ruffled. Clump gets a foot tall and two feet wide. Makes a outstanding border! Lavender flowers
Hosta Darkest Star (Nelson, NR) [Sport of H. Dark Star] Just like it's parent this hosta grows very quickly. Blue green narrow leaves are ruffled and make a great border plant. Clump gets a foot tall and two feet wide. Lavender flowers
Hosta Darwin's Standard (unknown, NR) [Sport from H. Gold Standard] Shiny leaves are yellow centered leaves with a blue-green margin. Medium size clump takes some sun. Near white flowers.
Hosta Dave Stone (Summers, NR) [Sport from H. Piedmont Gold] Leaves are a light creamy gold with a dark green edge. Outstanding specimen plant with brighten any garden. Flowers are near white.
Hosta Daybreak (Aden, 1986) [Sport from Japanese seedling of unknown origin] Very nice clump gets 3 feet wide and nearly 2 feet tall. Leaves get huge and are a bright yellow turning more green as the season progresses. Impressive. Outstanding spring color.
Hosta Deep Blue Sea (Seaver, 1994) [A seedling who's pod parent is H. Blue Moon] This one from Charlie Seaver is a dark blue medium size clump that gets 15 inches tall and nearly 3 feet wide. This is one of the most outstanding spring plants with crinkled leaves. Lavender flowers
Hosta Dee's Golden Jewel (Walek, 1996) [H. Royal Standard x H. Galaxy] Yellow gold leaves on a two foot tall and 18 inch wide upright clump. Give this one some sun and you will fall in love with it. Near white flowers
Hosta Delia (Ford, 1995)[Sport from H. Golden Prayers] Leaves are a light yellow with a medium green edge. Clump is 6 inches high and 18 inches wide. Great substance great for the small garden. Flowers are near white.
Hosta Delta Dawn (Vaughn, NR) [H. Aztec Treasure x H. William Lachman] Chartreuse golden leaves with a wide creamy edge have a nice swirl to them. Clump is nearly 2 feet wide and has very pretty lavender flowers. Stunning in spring.
Hosta Diana Remembered (Kulpa, 1997) Fragrant [Sport from H. Seventh Heaven] Nice green leaves bordered in a wide creamy white edge that extends into the center of the leaf. Clump gets 16 inches tall and two feet wide. Fragrant white flowers. A perfect tribute to Princess Di.
Hosta Diane Gray Dalton

(Seaver, NR) [Parentage unknown] A very rare streaked breeder. Leaves are green with yellowish creamy white streaks throughout the leaf. A definite collector plant!
Hosta Dixie Chick (Avent, 1999) [H. Masquerade x H. Invincible] Glossy leaves are a medium green with a creamy white edge. Small clump is 4 inches high and 10 inches wide. You don't have to be a country music fan to fall in love with this one. Pale lavender flowers
Hosta Don Quixote (Seaver, NR) [Sport from H. Don Stevens] Another collector breeder plant, this hosta is very streaked with white into the green leaves. Reported to have interesting seedlings but may take some work. Pretty clump.

(Stevens/Seaver, NR) [Parentage unknown] Medium green leaves have a yellow wavy edge. Makes an impressive clump and should be in every garden. Lavender flowers.
Hosta Donahue Piecrust (Donahue/Rue, 1999) [A seedling who's pod parent is H. montana] Medium green leave have one of the best piecrust in a hosta today. Clump is 18 inches tall and nearly 2 feet wide. Spectacular specimen plant that grows quickly. White flowers.
Hosta Dorothy Benedict (Benedict, 1983) [H. Frances Williams x H. Frances Williams] The mother of all breeder plants. The crinkled leaves are dark blue-green with cream color streaks through-out. Fertile flowers are near white. A slow grower but an amazing collector plant.
Hosta Dorset Flair (Smith/Ruh, 1990) [H. Tardiana grex] Another of Eric's tardiana's, this one has blue green leaves with good heavy substance. Clump gets 9 inches tall and 13 inches wide. Lavender flowers.
Hosta Doubloons (Zumbar, NR) [Sport from H. Alvatine Taylor] The clump is reported to get 45 inches wide and 20 tall. The leaves are bright gold. Makes an impressive large clump. White flowers.
Hosta Dust Devil (Zilis, 1999) [Sport from H. Whirlwind] Each leaf is a work of art! Dark green centers with a creamy white edge that often bleeds into center. Edge starts out a chartreuse color and changes as the season progresses. Lavender flowers. Outstanding. Clump is 24 inches high and 50 inches wide with Lavender flowers
